Friday, August 10, 2007 – Knott’s Soak City water slides
Meet @ 9am @ GC bus stop to carpool (Bring $20 + $3 for gas money for drivers).
Wednesday, August 15, 2007 (Wed. before Fall07 classes start) – San Diego Nighttime Zoo
Meet @ 2pm GC bus stop to carpool OR meet @ 2:45pm in front of the Zoo entrance.
Only $7 student group rate + $1-2 for drivers’ gas (Regular price is $28).
Week of Monday, August 20, 2007 – 1st Club Meeting – Club Room in Student Center
Start your semester off right with the 1st of our weekly Int’l Club meetings.
Tuesdays from 1-2pm @ Club Room. Meet new friends! Fun activities! Free snacks & drinks!
Thursday, August 23, 2007 – Welcome Int’l Students Reception – Main Quad
From 11am to 2pm. Free coffee, iced tea and sweets… come learn about the Int’l Club and Int’l Student Programs! Meet new friends!!
Friday, August 24, 2007 – South Misson Beach BBQ Party!!
ONLY $4.99 (club members); $5.99 (GC students not in club); $6.99 (off-campus friends)
Meet @ 11am in front of GC bus stop to carpool; or meet at South Mission Beach @ 1pm. (Bring swimsuit, beach chair, sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, camera).

Tuesday & Wednesday, September 11&12, 2007 – GC Club Fairre – 11am-12:30pm in Main Quad
Learn about/Sign up for GC Clubs! Help the Int’l Club get new members!
Friday October 12, 2007 – Cowles Mountain Hike 1pm
Meet @ GC bus stop at 1pm to carpool; JOIN us for this 3-mile roundtrip hike up San Diego city’s highest peak (about ~1,700 feet high).
October (Date TBA) – Grossmont College Halloween Party – Costume Party!
Details will be emailed to students closer to the date of the event.
Saturday, November 3, 2007 – Julian Apple-picking Stonewall Peak Hike Trip
Join us for a day of apple-picking, apple pie eating, and hiking in the beautiful mountains near Julian.
Week of November 5, 2007 – Mexican Tostada/Baked Goods Fundraiser!
Help the Int’l Club make money!! Put your cooking talents to use! Help make or serve food for this fundraiser. (Serving and baking food requires attending the Grossmont College Food Handlers 1-hour Class. More information to be posted later).
Friday, November 9, 2007 – Subway Sandwich-Movie Night – Just $5 for members!
5pm to 10pm – Join the Int’l Club for FREE movies and CHEAP food.
Week of November 12, 2007 – Int’l Club Thanksgiving Party – Just $10!!
Meet @ 6pm in the Griffin Gate Room inside the Student Center at GC.
Friday, December 7, 2007 – December Nights (Xmas at the Prado), Balboa Park
FREE EVENT! – Famous San Diego holiday tradition. Enjoy FREE entry to all museums, FREE entertainment on several stages & Int’l food for sale.
Meet @ 3:30pm at GC bus stop. Carpool with GC students ($2 gas money for drivers).
